A New Years Eve Wedding To Remember

When K & T decided to have an Edmonton New Years Eve Wedding, I obviously knew it was going to be a night to remember. Turning a holiday into an epic party and wedding celebration? Yes, please!

K & T’s New Years Eve Wedding was surprisingly warm for this time of year in Edmonton IYKYK— not freeing my butt off was a particularly great start to the day. Further the intimate dinner at Sorrentinos Downtown with their wedding party, significant others, and immediate family was such a cozy and heartfelt way to spend time together before the dance floor and countdown into the New Year!

The couple had an untraditional ceremony element that I have been seeing more and more of at weddings – when couples get married by a friend. I have found it adds such personal touch to their vows and their friend Sharon Gowling executed her role perfectly. I absolutely love when couples incorporate these unique elements into their ceremony.

K & T were all about hosting THE party, and what better way to celebrate a New Year? The vibe was electric, with everyone ready to dance the night away. Late-night pizza snack? Genius. It was certainly a hit and kept everyone fuelled for more fun.

One of my favorite moments that is usually pinned to the more traditional is the cake cutting. K & T went the route of having it be just the two of them, enjoying a quiet slice of bliss together. It can certainly add an extra element of intimacy, making for a sweet moment amidst all the excitement.
Lastly a big shoutout to the awesome vendors who made this day happen.
